General Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose and Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the relationship between ACTIVA’M ACTIVITATS FÍSIQUES I ESPORTIVES, S.L. (hereinafter, ACTIVELO) and any user who contracts an experience offered through the website activelo.es.

The booking of an experience implies the full, voluntary, and unconditional acceptance of these terms, which are considered an integral part of the contract between Activelo and the user.

These conditions may be updated or modified as necessary. In such cases, the conditions in effect at the time of the booking shall apply.

3. Services Offered

ACTIVELO offers guided cycling tourism experiences, which may include, depending on the selected experience:

  • Electric road bike adjusted to the user's size.

  • Specialized technical guide.

  • Technical assistance during the route.

  • Support vehicle.

  • Public liability insurance.

  • Accident insurance.

  • Additional material specified in each technical sheet.

  • Prior information regarding the route (distance, difficulty, elevation gain, recommendations, etc.).

A detailed description of each experience is available in its respective information sheet on the website.

4. Booking Process

The booking process consists of several stages:

  1. The user selects the experience and desired date, completes the form with the required data, and accepts these General Conditions and applicable documentation. A pre-booking notification is then sent to the user's email.

  2. Subsequently, the user will receive an email requesting the corresponding payment to formalize their participation.

  3. The booking is only considered confirmed once payment is received and a confirmation email is sent by ACTIVELO. Without said email, the booking shall not be valid.

5. Prices and Taxes

Prices include VAT and the services specified in each experience's fact sheet.

Prices do not include: meals not specifically mentioned, external transportation costs, personal cycling gear, or extra services outside the program.

ACTIVELO reserves the right to modify prices; however, this will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.

6. Cancellations by the Client

  • Up to 72 hours before the activity: 100% refund.

  • Less than 72 hours before: No right to a refund.

  • No-show on the day of the activity: No right to a refund.

  • Illness, injury, or certified medical reason: Possibility of changing the date, subject to availability.

7. Cancellations by ACTIVELO

ACTIVELO may cancel or modify an activity due to adverse weather, dangerous conditions, unforeseen technical or logistical issues, failure to reach the minimum number of participants, or force majeure.

In these cases, the user may choose between changing the date or receiving a full refund of the amount paid. Expenses external to the activity will not be compensated.

8. User Requirements

The user declares that they know how to ride a bicycle independently and safely, possess an adequate physical condition, and commit to: the mandatory use of a helmet, following the guide’s instructions, not participating under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or incompatible medication, and previously communicating any relevant medical conditions.

ACTIVELO reserves the right to prevent participation if the user fails to meet these conditions, without the right to a refund.

9. Modification of the Itinerary

The guide may modify the itinerary for reasons of safety, weather, terrain conditions, group pace, or technical incidents.

These modifications do not grant the right to a refund, provided the activity is maintained under equivalent terms.

10. Included Insurance

All experiences include accident insurance and public liability insurance.

The insurance does not cover negligent riding, improper use, tampering with the motor/battery, leaving the group, or intentional damage.

11. User Liability

The user shall be liable for damages caused by misuse, unauthorized tampering, reckless riding, or the loss of provided material.

The user shall not be held liable for mechanical breakdowns due to normal wear and tear or technical failures not attributable to them.

12. Intellectual Property

All texts, images, routes, logos, and the structure of the website are the property of ACTIVELO and may not be reproduced without prior authorization.
